Simon Boxall

Oceanographer
Simon is a lecturer in Oceanography and school liaison officer at the National Oceanography Centre, Southampton. He’s monitored ocean environments worldwide in force 11 gales and in the compete calm, from the air, space and underwater – tracking and monitoring pollution and environmental impact. He’s consulted on several feature films and TV programmes. Simon coordinates the Cape Farewell science programme and has been on past art/science expeditions in 2004 and 2007.
