The Cape Farewell team embarked on their first Art/Science Expedition on the 28th of May 2003. For almost two weeks the group of scientists, educators, artists, journalists, media experts, four crew and captain set sail aboard the Noorderlicht on a voyage from Tromsø (Northern Norway) to Spitsbergen (Svalbard) via Bear Island and an open ocean crossing of the 'Devils Dancefloor'.
