Late at Tate
Friday, 6 February 2009
Tate Britain, London
Panel discussions, film, readings, sound installations and live music
On 6 February join us in exploring Sublime environments and artistic responses to climate change as Cape Farewell inhabit Tate Britain during their Late at Tate series for discussion, debate, sound and live music, plus an Arctic installation on Chelsea College of Art & Design’s Parade Ground.
To coincide with the Late at Tate, Greenhouse Gas, Sunand Prasad with Chris Wainwright will be presented at the Parade Ground, Chelsea College of Art & Design. Greenhouse Gas was originally installed during the 2008 Disko Bay Expedition on an Arctic beach near the Sermeq Avangnardleq Glacier on ground vacated by a melting glacier. A group of Chelsea College of Art & Design students have been tasked with responding to and recreating Greenhouse Gas, which will be exhibited at the Parade Ground on 6 February 2009.
