Farmer, wine producer, supporter of the arts, and a Cape Farewell Board member

Hugo is a member of the Cape Farewell Board. He is a Londoner with a passion for the countryside and the arts. Educated at the French Lycée and Westminster School and what is now Westminster University, he is a founding member and Chairman of the Salisbury Arts Centre and of the Salisbury Festival.

Hugo also sits on the board of Siobhan Davis Dance, Millstream Theatre Company and Dataculture Ltd, a ticketing software company specialising in theatre and arts venues. He is a Panel member of Southern Arts.

He is Chairman of the regional National Farmers Union and winner of the National Pig Awards (Piggy Oscar). Hugo farms vines and owns a winery, together with provision of workshops and studios for workers and makers in the creative industries.
