Cape Farewell: Art & Climate Change is an exhibition of 20 years of ecological art produced by Cape Farewell in partnership with Atkinson Gallery, Somerset.

Celebrating the work of 14 artists, the exhibition was accompanied by three public talks by David Buckland, Siobhan Davies, Dr Simon Boxall and a workshop by Helen Moore.

Featuring artwork made in The Arctic by Antony Gormley, Siobhan Davies, Ian McEwan, Rachel Whiteread, David Buckland, Michael Pinsky, Michèle Noach and more.

Exhibition Opening Night

Cape Farewell: Art & Climate Change ran from the 11th September – 11th October at The Atkinson Gallery.

Director and Cape Farewell founder David Buckland gave an insightful and thought-provoking lecture before the audience walked around the exhibition. Buckland described the story of Cape Farewell, illustrated with amazing footage from Arctic Expeditions, as well as scientific data, the role of art, culture and change.
