See the award-winning documentary Our Life is Here, which follows the 2023 Cape Farewell expedition to the Marshall Islands through the eyes of Western and Marshallese artists.

You are warmly invited to attend a special screening of the award-winning documentary Our Life Is Here at the National Maritime Museum.

The Screening will be in the Lecture Theatre, followed by a brief Q&A with the film’s director, David Buckland.
Our Life Is Here follows the 2023 Cape Farewell expedition to the Marshall Islands through the perspectives of Western and Marshallese artists. Set amid breathtaking landscapes, the film explores climate change, cultural resilience, and the enduring legacy of nuclear weapons testing.
You are invited to view the accompanying exhibition, Kõmij Mour Ijin / Our Life Is Here, currently on display at the National Maritime Museum, prior to the film screening. Several exhibiting artists will be present to discuss their work.
